March 21 2007:
Spring started with a couple of nice wintry showers. Besides graupel and melting snow, some showers produced thunder and strong wind gusts. The sun is shining as well, resulting in beautiful photogenic skies. The early week showed some frosty nights, but the remainder of the week will be somewhat less cold. From next weekend on high pressure will dominate Dutch weather, resulting in sunny skies and climbing temperatures!
March 16 2007:
The last 7 days showed some nice spring weather in the Low Countries. Last Mondays highs reached 17 degrees at some locations! The week ahead will see significant lower temperatures with strong winds at times and even wintry showers. Hopefully some photogenic skies will show up!

Added a new Photo of the Month
Winter 2007 ended record breaking mild. The average temperature over December, January and February was 6,5°C. This is more normal for a city in southern France! Furthermore it was gloomy and wet this winter. No winter weather in sight for the next week or so as well. It will remain mild and unsettled.
At last some new photos to the site! Sorry for my lack of updates during the last months.
Added new pictures to the following sections:
- Chase October 17th on Crete
- Tornadoes and Funnel clouds
- Halo Display
