August 20 2008:
It's been a while since my last update, but that doesn't mean I haven't shot any weather photos! Especially last weekend was quite photogenic with nice storms and a brilliant sunset. But as I will be moving to my (own) new house, still in Utrecht, I'm just lacking time to update the site. Hopefully the updates will return in September!

August 6 2008:
Last Sunday and EF1, perhaps EF2, tornado struck parts of Friesland and Groningen, in the north of the country. Many farm houses sustained damage to roofs and stables.
Weather turns warm again today with highs between 25 and 30°C. An isolated strong thunderstorm may form later in the day, but a more active complex is expected to pass tomorrow morning.

August 2 2008:
Due to the warmth of the last week the month July 2008 was warm again. There was somewhat less sunshine than normal and a way above average amount of rain. Most precipitation fell out of local storms, so there were huge differences nationwide. Yesterday the heat dissapeared as a complex of showers and thunderstorms crossed the country. The chance of showers increases again by tomorrow.
